HH Recruitment are currently searching for experienced FLT Drivers on behalf of our client.

Our client is a well-known Logistics company with an enviable reputation, they have been included in the UK top 20 companies to work for every year for the past 15 years running.

Working within a busy Distribution Centre in Liverpool the FLT Driver will report directly into the Warehouse Manager, you will work within a busy close-knit team helping to get various products in and out within certain time frames. Each team will have a busy work sheet and be expected to hit the targets given each day and so you will be expected to help each team to achieve this.

Work to deadlines to unload products off the vehicles
Carry out regular checks to ensure the trailers have enough straps one loaded/unloaded for H&S reasons
Loading vehicles for same day/next day delivery
Completing relevant battery checks
Using the correct manual handling, driving techniques, and always following H&S guidelines
Reporting any accidents, product issues or damages
Ensuring that products leave the warehouse on time and in perfect condition

Ideal candidates will be expected to have the following

Experience of operating a counterbalance truck in a busy warehouse
Experience of working under pressure and to deadlines
Excellent attention to detail
Good understanding of handling stock is desirable
Experience of working in a warehouse or logistics environment
An FLT counterbalance license is essential
